Linda Holliday is a serial entrepreneur who has spent a career at the intersection of media, marketing and tech, building leading edge strategies, technologies and companies that empower the most demanding marketers and publishers to learn, teach, target, sell and storytell across an ever-expanding array of opportunities and challenges.
She is the founder and chief executive of Citia, a first and only system that creates swipe-able card-based media flows that integrate into the native feeds and flows of mobile media. Citia “Supercards” can go everywhere; social, paid, web, SMS and expand on contact delivering the missing link — dramatic engagement. In fall of 2014, Citia launched it’s drag and drop, write-once-push-to-publish card editor and is already delivering in-market results for brands publishers and agencies.
After an early career in sports marketing and television production, Linda cofounded Medical Broadcasting Company which helped revolutionize marketing for health-related products by applying sophisticated consumer marketing and digital strategies for Brands like Claritin, Viagra, Tylenol and 100 more. MBC was recognized to have “written the book,” on digital innovation pioneering early products and firsts such as online Continuing Medical Education and the 1998 launched XML news service ePharm5, still in business today. MBC was sold to Digitas, the “Digital Agency of the Decade,” which was soon acquired by Publicis Groupe.
Based in New York, she is an active angel in digital media companies such as ComiXology, ScrollMotion, Localytics and 33Accross. She teaches in the School of Visual Arts Masters of Design Entrepreneurship in New York. And she is a sought-after speaker and writer on the future of digital creativity and business.
